The media won't say this because the media consists of people who are the rich and have nothing but contempt for poor people.
The media won't say this because the DNC consists of people who are the rich and have nothing but contempt for poor people.
We can talk about race and we can talk about issues and we can talk about Hillary Clinton nutcrackers (on sale now!) and we can talk about anything as long as it's not the one thing that really is relevant: it's about social class.
Bill Clinton did right by the working class people, and I bet Hillary will too, if she's elected. And that's the real reason why the media and the DNC hate the Clintons so much. Because the media and the DNC have power and they like to have power, and they want to keep their power. All of it.
If you (or your parents) earn less than 150k - 250k per year, Obama has nothing but contempt for you. And I think that's true no matter what color you are.
Don't believe me? Google "krugman clinton economic" and read what amounts to a transcript of the debate our candidates ought to be having. Then explain, if you can, why the media keeps pushing the narrative that Obama and Clinton are somehow virtually the same on issues.
update: I just read this at Pollster.com
The recent Pew poll of Democrats and Democratic-leaning registered voters nationwide finally provides us with some crosstabs of the Democratic presidential primary of gender by other demographic variables. We can now observe what I hypothesized last week from exit polls-the gender gap in the Clinton vs. Obama race can be substantially explained by other demographic variables. Age, socioeconomic status, and ideology may be driving the Democratic primary more than gender. (emphasis mine)
