No right is more precious in a free country than that of having a voice in the election of those who make the laws under which, as good citizens, we must live. Other rights, even the most basic, are illusory if the right to vote is undermined.

can we please, please, please either kick these guys out or start a new party?

From the Washington Post:

Sen. Barack Obama's team will continue its aggressive outreach to evangelical voters at the Democratic National Convention next week. Making a prime-time appearance Thursday night will be Joel C. Hunter, a Florida megachurch pastor who will deliver the convention's closing prayer following Obama's speech accepting the Democratic presidential nomination. Hunter is a registered Republican, opposes abortion and, at one point, had been chosen to lead the Christian Coalition.
These guys ain't no Democrats. Get them out of our party.

Don't aid. Don't abet. Don't collaborate. And for God's sake don't vote for any of them. Especially Obama.

I do not know exactly what has infiltrated our party ....I do not see how anyone can continue to believe these guys are acting in good faith. They're handing our party over to the bad guys, and if we can't stop them, we can at least do our best to sabotage the saboteurs.

Get these guys out of our party. Whatever they are, they're obviously parasitic. It's like watching a virus explode or something.....
